Job Description: We are seeking a Program Analyst to support program requirements, program schedules and perform other related tasks in support of the assigned Program Integrated Product Teams (IPT) activities. The chosen candidate will assist the Program Manager in the execution of all assigned program activities. Participates as a member of and/or supports the specified IPTs and IPT directed business meetings. Collect, complete, organize and interpret data relevant to the position, such as technical data, financial information, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case data and other similar information relating to aircraft acquisition and product programs. Tracks program/project status and schedules. The Program Analyst will provide technical support in the review of documents [e.g. Statement of Work (SOW), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL), DD254s, technical proposals, and industry submitted papers].

  • Education: BS or BA degree in a Business, Management or Relevant Technical Discipline.
  • ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An AS or AA degree and an additional four (4) years of experience; OR an additional six (6) years of experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.
  • Experience: At least four (4) years of experience in program management, technical, or business analysis discipline; and included in the four (4) years, there must be two (2) years professional experience in technical efforts supporting major weapon systems and components development. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in the program/project status and schedules and knowledge of SECNAV, OPNAV and OSD policy and documentation related to PPBS, life-cycle management of military acquisition programs (as specified in the DoD 5000 series).
  • In support of the above functions, a Secret clearance is required for the position. Security Clearance level obtainable after assignment to position is acceptable. The Contractor will determine security level achievability prior to placement.

Key attributes:

  • Active Secret security clearance highly desirable.
  • A working knowledge of MS Office applications is required.
  • Demonstrated written and oral communications is required.
  • A working knowledge of NAVAIR contracting, AMS and PMT is highly desirable.
  • A working knowledge of DOD SAP policies and procedures relating to Foreign Military Sales (FMS) is a benefit.
  • Knowledge of Naval aircraft (rotary/fixed wing) is a benefit.
