Operations Research Analyst
Description: Applies scientific, mathematics, and statistical methodologies to the study and analysis of technological problems in relation to engineering and scientific development of processes, systems, and equipment. Uses mathematical and computerized modeling and other analytical techniques to design procedures for and execute experiments, test, and evaluations on weapons systems or equipment.
Education: Position requires a BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university in Operations Research) Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or Engineering.
Experience: At least three (3) years of recent and relevant experience in an engineering or operations analysis position. Demonstrated knowledge in the area of engineering expertise is required.
NOTE: This is a Journeyman position. A similar requirement for those with an MS/MA and/or 10+ years of experience would qualify for a Senior position. Experience working with simulators and combined operations with multiple platforms is highly desired. This position specifies training requirements to coordinate joint simulator events for multiple platforms.
