Job Description: We are currently seeking an Executive Assistant (EA)/Administrative Assistant (AA) to support our Patuxent River, MD customer. The EA/AA will be a member of the Operations Team and will support the daily activities of the customer or Integrated Product Team (IPT) assigned.
Functional Description: The EA/AA will primarily provide administrative support for the execution of travel orders and vouchers in the Defense Travel System (DTS). Additionally, the EA/AA will provide support by performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, scheduling meetings, managing calendars and preparing meeting minutes as well as action items. The EA/AA will support the Program Managers, Deputy Program Managers and other leadership personnel with setting up meetings, administrative duties, briefings, and open projects, as required.
Duties and Responsibilities: Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Providing administrative assistance, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, and preparing communications
- Coordinating and executing travel documentation in DTS
- Providing administrative assistance, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, and preparing communications
- Maintaining and coordinating calendars and meetings in support of the PMs/DPMs
- Coordinate/schedule/facilitate meetings
- Compiling Meeting Minutes/Action Items
- Distribute briefs and files for meetings, as requested
Key Attributes:
- Proficient in Microsoft Programs to include Outlook and Word, and familiarity with PowerPoint, excel and Teams.
- Good written and verbal communications skills.
- Good organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Good interpersonal skills
Required Education: High School diploma / GED.
Required Experience: At least 1 year of experience in an administration discipline. At least 1 year of experience utilizing the Defense Travel System.
Desired Experience: NAVAIR experience and a current Common Access Card a plus.
