Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Program Analyst to support program requirements, program schedules and perform other related tasks in support of the assigned Program Integrated Product Teams (IPT) activities in a program office managing missile weapon systems. The chosen candidate will assist the Program Manager in the execution of all assigned program activities. Participates as a member of and/or supports the specified IPTs and IPT directed business meetings. Responsibilities include applying analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives; analyzing requirements, status, budget and schedules; performing management, technical, or business case analyses; and collecting, completing, organizing and interpreting data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs. Technical insight to track program/project status and schedules and applying Government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management is required.
Education:
- MA/MS degree
Experience:
- At least 10 years’ experience performing duties described in the job description.
Key attributes:
- Active Secret security clearance is highly desirable.
- Experience in a Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Program Management Air (PMA) office.
Desired Experience:
Senior – Candidate is desired to have at least four (4) years professional experience in a NAVAIR PO. PMP Certified. The candidate is desired to have effective project management skills in order to develop, plan, analyze, and execute projects across the full system life cycle. The candidate is desired to have experience and expertise utilizing project management tools in order to conduct schedule analysis, track and coordinate technical requirements, documentation, and briefing packages, manage and lead cost estimating and budgeting, understand earned value management, and lead risk and opportunity management processes. The position desires a candidate who has the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, coordinate with various stakeholders, and manage external relationships effectively. It is desired to be able to think and speak clearly, present ideas effectively, and work with people at all levels of organizational hierarchy.
